Refund policy
Frip Vintage aims to provide you with a quality selection of Vintage and Preloved Clothing and want you to have a good experience shopping with us online.
By its nature, Vintage and Preloved Clothing may show signs of age or wear. We do our best to show the quality of the items through photos and descriptions, so you know what you are receiving. Our garments have a past, and that is part of what makes them a sustainable and affordable option, and part of what makes them unique.
Grossly misdescribed items
If you receive an item that:
- is clearly not what you ordered, or
- differs significantly from its description, including what was visible from photographs,
please get in touch within 5 days of delivery. We want you to have a good experience and we'll look at the situation, how it occurred, and how we can make it right.
Please contact us at hello@fripvintage.co.nz explaining the situation and giving the customer name and details such as order number.
Change of mind refunds
We do not offer change of mind refunds for items under $200 or sold on sale. Where you are seeking a change of mind refund it is important that the item remains in the same condition received (and is not used or washed by you), all tags including Frip Vintage store tags remain intact, and that you can provide evidence of purchase.
Where you are seeking a change of mind refund and your item meets the above conditions please contact us with in 5 days of delivery and we will consider offering store credit.
In all cases of change of mind refunds the purchaser will be responsible for returning the item to us in the same condition as received, including courier tracking and insurance to ensure the item reaches us.

We reserve the right to refuse a return unless it is required under New Zealand Law
We value our customers and appreciate your support, and your understanding of the unique nature of vintage and pre-loved clothing. Our goal is to create a positive and long lasting relationship with you . However, regardless of any undertaking implied above, we reserve the right to decline a return unless we are obligated to under New Zealand law.
